Entropion and ectropion surgery

It involves the correct positioning of the eyelids. There are various techniques, which are selected according to each case.

In moderate and severe entropion/ectropion cases, in which lubricant treatment is not sufficient.

A comprehensive eye and eyelid examination.

Patients should not take anticoagulants or aspirin before surgery.

The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia and sedation.

In unilateral cases, an initial asymmetry can appear, but this disappears over time.
