What does it involve?
Iridoplasty is a procedure performed with an argon laser.
When is it carried out?
It is performed in cases where the iris covers the filtration area, known as plateau iris.

Surgery
Surgery involves making impacts on the entire periphery of the iris (360°) in order to reduce its peripheral volume and move it away from the aqueous humour filtration area (trabecular meshwork).
